Dr. Zack Charkawi’s professional goal is to treat the whole patient, thereby balancing and improving physical and mental health. Because of the interaction and influence physical and mental health have on each other, Dr. Charkawi takes an in-depth look into all aspects of his patients’ needs and provides an open dialogue to their care. Listening and availability are his primary tools in treatment. Zack N. Charkawi, MD, the founder of Men’s Health Atlanta, is a graduate of Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, earning a B.S. in Chemistry. He was graduated with honors from the Ross University School of Medicine and pursued additional training at Wheeling Hospital, ranked nationally among the top 10 quality healthcare facilities.
Dr. Charkawi practiced family medicine in Bellevue, Kentucky, for six years often working with poverty-stricken families in the Kentucky Highlands area. He joined the Department of Family Medicine at Louisville University as Assistant Professor working closely with medical students. Dr. Charkawi is a sought-after teacher and mentor in medicine.
Dr. Charkawi received his hair restoration training from Dr. Robert Jones, a Toronto, Canada, hair transplant specialist who is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS), a graduate of the American Board of Hair restoration (ABHRS), and is featured on many hair transplant networks, websites, and the television series Skin Deep. Dr. Jones is a world-renowned surgeon with over 20 years experience in his field. Dr. Charkawi brings his skill, training, and passion to patients in north Atlanta and beyond.
Dr. Charkawi is the founder of Johns Creek Family Medicine and Men’s Health Atlanta. He has been practicing medicine for over 15 years. Dr Charkawi is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Diabetic Association, and the American Medical Association.
He currently works part-time with Gwinnett Emergency Specialists as an ER physician. Due to his specialized work with diabetes, he is named in Who’s Who for his work with diabetes treatment, education, and research. He also has extensive expertise with adult attention deficit disorder (AADD).
